I got my project last week, and I am excited to dive in. The concept itself is new and nebulous because I have to think about what similar pictures mean and what kind of picture I would want at the end. The fact that it involves genetic algorithms is great because I have never worked with those. Lastly, I will be building a web app with Python. I have never made a web app, so I am looking forward to that. Python wise, I am decently versed in it, but this will build up my experience.

My first order of business is to build an empty web app. Next, I plan to take the next week or few weeks to read a genetic algorithms textbook. I am not sure how much understanding to grasp before doing something else, but I will figure that out shortly.
