I got a good start on reading the textbook. The first chapter talked about a basic overview of the terms and concepts in genetic algorithms. Now I am getting into the specifics of what a typical algorithm process looks like, as well as various types of selection solutions.
I also looked into Python graphical interfaces. There are two viable candidates that are cross-platform and allow grid-like formatting. They are run from the CMD and then pop a window open, akin to running any desktop app or a .exe in C++.
