I met with Dr. McVey, and I asked some questions about the goal of the project. She gave me some other visuals and examples, such as jigsaw puzzles and past project test cases. For the latter, an early test case might be single-color tiles. At some point after, you might give it a picture and run the algorithm on it to see if it ends up the same. The end goal is to give it different pictures and get it to give you the desired picture.

Dr. McVey also pointed out that a web app might not be viable because it is not as easy to stop as a graphical interface. Luckily, I was already going that route anyway.

Next, I have the mini-poster session, where I can talk about my app ideas. I also have a timeline started. I plan on continuing the textbook while building up my design ideas and graphical interface. I will refine the timeline and publish it sometime soon.
