Real-Time Audio Processing

Name: Peter Gapinski

Project Description: Design a digital acquisition (DAC) system that processes sound in real-time.

General Requirements:

  1. Implement applications to:
  2. Address the typical DAC functions of collecting, processing, logging, and reporting, as well as issues including multi-tasking and buffering.
  3. Implement controls to create noise in the system and methods to handle it. Noise includes issues such as data loss, transmission too fast or too slow, and clipping sound waves.
  4. Explore differences in sound processors and platforms (CPU and OS).
