Project Timeline

- Complete working prototype of Infrared History program.
- Further research and demoing of IRServer and Girder accompaniment.
- Complete simple mouse movement from keyboard control program.
- Begin working on displays/menus for initialization of remote controls

- Learn about accessing controls for apllications such as WinAmp, InterVideo WinDVD and basic overall mouse and other such commands.
- Gain capability of program to bind certain remote controled infrared patterns to useful functions.

- Investigate into using the remote system to control OS commands(gui and shell).
- Be able to give demo of controling at least one apllication (WinAmp?) through just the remote control.
- Look into the possibility and plausability of having a computer control a remote by some manner to control either another computer hooked up with an infrared system or to control another device such as a television or VCR.

- Be able to control multiple apllications through just remote control.
- Discuss with DCP possible directions that can be taken with remaining project.

- Fully operational program, controling several applications along with OS commands.

- Improve and perfect current program.
- DEBUG.
- Any additions?

- Room for error! - Use this time as a buffer for my miscalculations in above timeline.

- Finishing touches on comments throughout code ... make sure others can easily use this for years to come!
