My name is Ryan Kroening, I'm currently a senior at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin and will be graduating in May of 2009 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics. From February to April of 2009, I used this site to track the progress of my CS460 capstone project in Computer Science. Besides basic progress on the project, this site also served as journal of sorts, documenting my thoughts throughout senior year as I explored post-graduation life. Feel free to browse around to understand not only the development of a large programming project, but also to get to know more about me as a computer scientist and soon-to-be college graduate.
For my final project in the Computer Science program, I wrote a program that simulates a fictional baseball league through multiple seasons of play. The simulation will be based upon player statistics, team management theories, and league structure, with an eye to the economics behind the game of baseball. If you would like a detailed description of the project and its requirements, visit "Project Description" to the left or simply click here.
If you would like to learn more about me, click About Me to view my resume, career path, and philosophy with regards to the Computer Science discipline.
As of May 4, 2009, there will be no more updates to this site; however, downloads will remain active, as will the ability to contact me via email at ryan.kroening@snc.edu .
Cheers!
