About Me

As a computer science major with a business administration minor, I have built a strong foundation in software development, database management, and problem-solving. Through my education, I have developed multiple websites and contributed to both team and individual programming projects. Currently, I am working on a semester-long capstone project tailored to my skills, further refining my ability to design and implement efficient solutions.

Further, I am also an entrepreneur, successfully founding and managing my own rental property business while pursuing my degree. This experience has strengthened my ability to analyze data, manage operations, and make strategic decisions.

Through over 10 years of karate dedication, I have instilled determination, commitment, and discipline, qualities I apply to every challenge. Whether completing complex coding assignments, managing business operations, or solving problems under pressure, a combination of technical skills, perseverance, and adaptability enables me to confront problems head-on while delivering quality work on time and contributing meaningfully to any team or project.

Philosophy Statement

My journey in computer science began during my freshman year of high school when I attended a technical school designed for students with clear career interests. I took a computer programming class and quickly found myself enjoying both the subject and the teacher.

In my sophomore year, I enrolled in another programming class. About halfway through the year, I made the decision to transfer from an education-based shop class to the computer programming track, ultimately graduating high school and with a computer programming certificate.

After high school, I enrolled at Saint Norbert College as a double major in mathematics and education with a minor in computer science. However, after my freshman year and taking a few classes with Dr. Diederich, I realized that my true passion lay in computer science. This led me to fully transition to a computer science major. Later adding on a business admin minor.

What I love most about computer science is its ever-evolving nature—it keeps me on my toes and constantly engaged. Even if I’m working on similar tasks, no two days are ever the same due to the wide range of programming challenges. Computer science is one of the few fields that truly stimulates my mind, pushing me to think critically and solve problems creatively. This constant challenge keeps me focused, motivated, and excited to learn more every day.
