Hello! My name is Samuel Beck, for my senior capstone project I will be developing a web interface that assists the user in identifying trends on various social media platforms.

Project Description

Creating a web interface that allows companies and users to see a list of popular social media trends based on user engagements and response.

Project Purpose

I had this idea after starting one of my online courses called, "Going Viral and Growth Hacking". The class's goal is to learn about what makes things "viral" which makes me think about how companies and users can hop onto trends. Having a clear way to see trends could benefit companies through targeted advertising and users could gain popularity on their posts.

Project Scope

• The platforms that will be within the scope will be some of the most used platforms and platforms with accessable apis.
• Engagements will be based on a like ratio account as gauging comments will be out of the scope of this project.
• The project will also include a way to filter based on the information available.
