Resume (Spring 2013)
Major:
Computer Science with an emphasis in Business Information Systems
Minor:
Business Administration
Career Plans (April 15 2013):
After having a summer internship with Advanced Blending Solutions in Menominee MI, I have decided to go on-board with them and take a full time position.
About Me:
I am finishing my senior year at St. Norbert College. Along with completing my studies I also have played for the Green Knight Football team here at SNC where I was part of two Midwest Conference Championship teams and I have the rings to prove it. When I was not busy with studies or football I enjoy playing video games or any number of outdoor activities. If all this is not enough I am also an assistant varsity wrestling coach for my old team the Peshtigo Bulldogs.
Philosophy Statement:
I entered St. Norbert with no knowledge of what computer science even was. My goal was to earn a degree in secondary math education. As part of the math major I was required to take the CS 110 which is the first course offered. During the semester with this course my plans for the future began to become a little clearer. After this semester I left the education degree behind and decided to pick up computer science. This change has lead me to realize that this was my true calling.
I fell in love with the field because of the never ending problem solving that it takes to succeed in this field. These problems allow me to use my critical analysis skills and create my own answers to problems instead of having to follow the rules for getting answers. This allows for me to be creative and effective with my skills to solve any kind or size of problem. My goal is to always create a function program that I am proud of and want to show off to others.
