Philosophy Statement

Before I came to St. Norbert College and decided to pursue a Computer Science major, I had planned to major in 
Pre-Med. Even so,  I had always had a very big interest in the technology field, and I took a few IT-related classes during high school. Only after my senior year ended did I really decide that I should make a career out of my interest.

I love computer science because it allows me to utilize creativity and problem solving when designing or implementing projects. In addition, the field is so vast and ever changing, so there are always new things to learn. It is nearly impossible to think what we take for granted in 10 years, and for that reason, computer science is in a league of its own. With my degree, I want to take my experience to the field and create effective, efficient, and easy to use software for users, while also making an impact on the industry. I look forward to working with other people who share the same amount of passion I do for computer science.

Career Plans (as of May 2015)

I have recently accepted a position as a Configuration Developer at West Bend Mutual Insurance, where I will be starting in June 2015.
