My assignment is as follows:
There are several mobile devices (GPS watch, Fitbit, smartphones, etc.) and supporting applications aimed at tracking our health. Most apps simply report current data (heart rate, steps, sleep, etc.) along with summary statistics. Apps tend to be so passive and negative that we soon top using them. How about an applications that incorporates multiple statistics and uses the results to encourage us to improve our health along with rewarding us when we do well? A healthy game could present achievable challenges based on our current health score.
Project Description:
Develop a game that uses and integrates health data from a mobile device and presents challenges and rewards based on the player's current health state.
- Design the game: users, goals, challenges, rewards...
- Determines the type of data and how to obtain them.
- How is a score determined? When?
- Develop a "fun" player interface: Animation, graphics...
- The platform should be mobile or mobile friendly (web).
