Just starting
When you enter the page, please click on a piece of furniture to begin with your mouse. When an item is selected it will turn a lighter color. The following items of furniture are moveable: single beds, lofted bed, refrigerator, and microwave. Only one object can be selected at a time.

Moving an object
Once an object is selected, it can be moved. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the furniture up, down, left, and right within the room. All objects will stay on the floor, unless they have the ability to stack.

Object collision
No furniture can move when it runs into an other object. Make sure to have a clear path when moving all furniture. If a collision occurs, a note will be placed on the info bar.

Rotating objects
An object must be selected before it can rotate. If the rotate button is clicked while an object is selected, the object will rotate clockwise 45 degrees. Click the rotate button until your object is in the desired position. If your furniture is not rotating, it cannot rotate because of a collision. Make sure your object is away from other objects when using the rotation.

Non-moveable furniture
The dorm room comes with furniture that cannot be moved. This furniture cannot be selected, but can be stacked upon. The following furniture is non-moveable: desks, closet, and heater.

Colorizing an object
When an object can be colorized, a color toolbar will appear. This color toolbar allows the selected item to change color. Move the sliders to change the values for red, green, and blue. Only the loft bed and single beds can be colorized.

Stacking objects
Only select objects can stack upon each other. Items will only be able to stack in locations where they can safely fit. The iVDR does not allow a large item to stack upon a small object. To stack an object, move it into object stacking upon. Once objects collide, the object will be stacked. A stacked object cannot be moved.

Unstacking object
To unstack an object, double click on object stacked. This will move object to its original position. Once unstacked, the object will be selected.

Resetting objects
T
he reset button will move any selected item back to its beginning position.
