Today I ran into issues when I went to work on my project. When trying to debug my program, a security error... Error #2000 ... popped up on the screen. It took me about an hour and a half, but I eventually was able to solve the problem. The issue was this, when I saved my project last time I put it into a folder called "SlideShow Backup 2/23". This generated the security error, and I was able to get things back up and running again after changing the root folder back to "SlideShow". Unfortunate that todays work session ended up as it did, but I learned a little more about the flash environment through my trouble shooting session. It is also odd that the Macintosh OS allowed me to use a date for the name of a folder with a forward slash. Windows 7 (maybe earlier windows versions as well) provides a popup message saying that the '/' character is not allowed. I think I may try moving my images folder to the server and load them that way...may be a nice feature for an administrator to be able to add images independent from the flash application.
