Philosophy Statement:
I originally entered college with a Math major, which is why I ended up taking
CS 110 fall of my Freshman year. I struggled a little - I had never taken a
programming course before - but, When I got the hang of it, I fell in love with
it. I had struggled deciding my major before my freshman year, but Computer
Science gave me the ability to combine the two things I had struggled over:
Math and Art. It gives me the ability to solve problems and find algorithms,
which is what I've always enjoyed about Math, but User Interface is such an
important aspect of it that I still have the ability to express my creativity,
which I had missed when just studying Math.
As difficult as coding can be sometimes, it's the lightbulb moment that always
eventually happens that makes all the hard work worth it. I live for these
moments.
Career Plans:
I am currently trying to find a web designer or developer position in the Green
Bay or Appleton area.
