Hi there! I am Alexandra Zaragoza, the project developer. Welcome to my Senior Capstone Project! A bit about me…I am a junior, majoring in computer science with a minor in business administration. In addition to attending class, doing homework, and working on my capstone project, I am a teaching assistant for the computer science department and spend a couple of hours a week at my internship. With any leftover time I have, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching a good action-packed or comedy movie, and losing myself in a puzzle!
My interest in physics during high school led me to find computer science - which was originally going to be my minor. Prior to starting my freshman year, I decided to declare computer science as my major. I knew the computer science courses would challenge me - and they most certainly have, especially since I had no prior programming experience. In spite of that, I decided to dedicate my time at St. Norbert College to computer science. Most importantly, I was willing to put in the effort and time to learn. I knew computer science was where I wanted to stay - even though there were struggles, when I experienced my first “aha moment” while working on an assignment. Being able to say, “I created that!” “I designed this!” “I coded that!” …as if it were magic.
