Philosophy Statement
For the longest time, I saw myself pursuing a field in the arts. A major in computer science was not a consideration until the summer before I started college, when I interned for Follett and realized that there is a lot more to this profession than meets the eye. Though computers only read in ones and zeros, there are many ways to get the computer to do what you want. In a world the computer sees as black and white, there is actually a lot of color and creativity. I’m determined to embrace that side of computer science.
