Computer Animation is the tool of the future! Animation has become very important in the entertainment industry. As the speed of computers are increasing, their prices are decreasing making animation available to everyone. Animation is a very good educational tool used for most everything. It is a way to see things that can not be seen otherwise.
One challenge that has occurred is the animation of humans called photorealistic* animation. Most animated movies show animal characters or cartoons. Due to the complexity of the human body,motion, and biomechanics creating human animation is a challenge. Complete human realism is not likely to happen very soon, however such concepts are beginning to emerge.
