TERMS

Animation- The creation of moving images through illusions of movement.

Child Bone- The bones in Anim8tor that are linked/connected to the root bone.

Cycle- A sequence of animation that is repeated over and over. 

Frame- The amount of time allowed for the object to move.

Figure- The unit where the 3D objects skeleton, through the connection of bones, is created in Anim8tor.

Kinetoscope-is an early motion picture exhibition device. (Shown Below)

Mesh- A command in Anim8tor used to convert the object to easily pick points.

Nitrate Celluloid Film- a thin flexible sheet, coated with gelatin and used as a substitute for photographic plates. 

Object- A basic unit in Anim8tor where the characters are brought to life through different shapes, textures, sizes, etc.

Photorealistic- The animation of humans.

Render-  The process of actually creating the movement the character into a movie.  It can be seen as the finished image or video.

Root Bone-  The primary bone needed to connect all other bones.

Scene- The unit in which the object is shown how to move, also displaying the camera.

Sequence- A series of frames that are used to animate the object creating movement.
