Cell Phones

Cell phones will eventually have every feature that anyone could ever want all on-the-go. Every cell phone will support internet access, GPS, and possibly TV channels. Many people think that cell phones will eventually have access or control over many appliances and electronics, so that someone can operate them without being present. As our society becomes more and more oriented towards doing things on-the-run or away from the house, the demand for more features will arise. Also, as technology develops, cell phones will become smaller than they are now, and the price will begin to drop as it becomes cheaper to produce them. |
Remote Car Starters

Remote car starters in the future will probably have access to all electronic systems in a car. They will eventually become a “norm” in new cars and be integrated into the wiring harness of a vehicle during production. They will eventually have the capability of controlling the hood and trunk release, windows, stereo, and lights, as well as all of the other functions. |
Eye-Q

The Gravely Eye-Q was designed and introduced for use in lawn mowers, but in the future, we foresee something very similar being utilized in all consumer vehicles. The information that it retrieves and outputs would be very useful, and it is all within a small box. Things like maintenance records could be used by the owner of the car as well as mechanics at a shop. They could retrieve the information from the microprocessor and immediately know some of the major specs or problems of the car. |
Integration of Cell Phones and Remote Starts

Cell phones with an integrated remote car start will be very common in the future. Cell phones will control more than just a remote car start though. They will be able to access a number of appliances/electronics and start them whenever, wherever. As of right now, there is only one remote car starter operated through a cell phone, but in the future, many more companies will begin to develop them as they see the demand for them and a possibility for profit. These companies may introduce a cell phone program that has all of the appliances or electronics of the owner/user programmed into the phone, so that the user can simply pick which one they want started. |
