I am currently very happily employed at Exodus Group, an internet programming company in Green Bay. I began working there as a summer job in June 2001, just as the company really started to grow. Our primary activity is database and web integration, but we also work in the wireless broadband ISP business, online marketing, and all sorts of other fun stuff.
I'm currently the lead programmer, and recently promoted and directed a change in our primary development platform from Coldfusion (a nice application server with a horrible programming idea) to Python Webware (an open source application server with an incredible full programming language).
My career plans are currently to stay at Exodus Group after graduation. Google looks like an incredible company to work for, with an 8000 node search cluster and heavy use of Python. Sometime in my future (just not right away) I would like to go back to school, and eventually teach at the college level.
