1. Open the Mosaic application. 2. Select desired size, total number of generations, elitism value (percentage of good population kept). Note: The more generations selected, the outcome will be closer to the original. When Elitism is selected to be closer to half, there will also be better results. 3. Upload desired image with the "Upload Image" button. Warning: If the image does not have a folder named "images" with desired images to be used, the program will let the user know, but will not run. 4. Click the "Create Mosaic" to start creating the mosaic. 5. Watch/wait for mosaic to create itself. Note: Progress bar will fill until it is finished. 6. User can save the image that was created or run through again with different variables.
