Philosophy Statement:
I initially came to Saint Norbert College as a data analytics major,
but after taking my first computer science class, I immediately switched my major.
Not only did I discover that I had a natural ability for programming, but I also found
the work genuinely exciting and engaging. What started as curiosity quickly became a
passion.
Computer science appealed to me because it combines logic, creativity,
and problem-solving. I enjoy that each problem can be attacked in multiple
ways with multiple solutions, and that no two problems feel the same. There is
something incredibly satisfying about writing code that turns an idea into
something real and functional.
