This project focuses on computational redistricting, using a recombination algorithm to generate and analyze alternative district maps. This process was used to generate thousands of possible district maps through simulation. The goal is to explore how different district maps impact fairness and partisan outcomes. It is important to note that election results were based off a two party vote. Below is a gallery of a random selection of the 1500 maps produced.
