About Me
Philosophy Statement:
Since I was young, I've always loved to build and create. Most of the time this would take the form of Makerspace events and creating with materials on hand, but in 4th grade
when I discovered coding through an after school program, something shifted, even though I didn't realize it at the time. Throughout school, I always enjoyed coding, but I didn't
yet see it as something I could truly pursue until I took a class in high school. That class inspired me to take computer science courses thorugh dual-enrollment,
and from there I was hooked.
When I began studying computer science at St. Norbert College, everything clicked into place. In my introductory C++ course, which was my first real experience with a text-based
object-oriented language, I felt like a kid again! I rediscovered the joy of creating something out of nothing, and that feeling continues to drive my passion for computer science today!
