My name is Cassie Nooyen and I will be graduating in the spring of 2022 as a Computer Science major double minoring in Math and Graphic Design. Outside of the classroom, I’ve gotten involved as the president of the Catholic Women’s Group, Chiara, Computer Science Club, and Women in STEM.
Philosophy Statement:
I fell in love with websites after taking my first website design class sophomore year of high school and then competing in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Those experiences helped me to decide to major in Computer Science and combine my love for design and logic. Since starting college, I am constantly reminded that I chose the correct major and after watching the capstone presentations my first year, my eyes were opened to the world of possibilities available with some code and imagination. As I wrap up my time at St. Norbert, I am excited to use my experiences as a springboard to the world of possibility ahead of me.
