After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree this spring, I will further cultivate my career qualifications by seeking a graduate degree. I aspire to earn a PH.D. in Computer Science at Iowa State, with a focus on theory and its applications. Ultimately, I anticipate beginning my profession in the field at a research laboratory or teaching at a university. I have an eagerness to share knowledge and an enthusiasm for teaching, cultivated through my experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant for both the Computer Science and Mathematics departments. My leadership capacity, even as the sole female in a group, and effective articulation of ideas make me a valuable and insightful member of any research or cooperative learning group. Combined with my passion for scholarship, ambition to undertake challenges, and persistent work ethic, these will prove to be valuable skills in advancing both my education and career.
