About me
My name is Edie Neuville. I am currently a junior at SNC, majoring in Computer Science, Actuarial Mathematics, and Data Analytics. I plan to graduate in May of 2027, and have no plans after graduation at the moment. In my free time, I enjoy knitting, baking, and hanging out with my three dogs.
Philosophy Statement
I entered college as a math major, but found the intersection of mathematics, data analysis, and computer science fascinating. I am most interested in problems where mathematical structure, computation, and real-world consequences intersect. I approach programming as a way of thinking, not just building. Clear representations and explicit assumptions matter to me because they shape both the behavior of models and the conclusions drawn from them. This project reflects the view that data analytics should prioritize transparency and reproducibility. Models are tools for exploration rather than sources of absolute answers, and responsible analysis means being honest about constraints and uncertainty.
