Philosophy Statement
I stumbled upon computer science by accident as a freshman. I took my first class due to a requirement for the physics major and fell in love with programming. There is a certain elation one feels when their program finally works after hours of planning, programming, and debugging. To know you are the reason something happened, even something as minute as a sprite moving, is incredibly rewarding. I plan continue creating programs to improve the world. Someday, I would like to own a video game studio to create worlds, stories, and characters others can enjoy.
