- Before the end of 2021, compsci02 and csmysql will
no longer be accessible. ITS has made
the decision that user accounts will not be migrated to >compsci04 by default.
Therefore, if you have
an account and files on compsci02 that you want to download, you may do
so using port 7576 and your snc account password, if it is active.
If it is not active, please contact
Dr. Bonnie McVey-Pankratz at bonnie.mcvey@snc.edu for assistance. If you need
access to a database on csmysql, please let her know as well.
Finally, if you notice broken links, please let her know so that those
can be fixed. Thanks! A And sorry for any inconvenience.
- Users on compsci04 are authenticated by using the same password
that you use to access your general SNC email account.
- Capstone directories have been migrated from compsci02 have
been migrated to compsci04. If you think
there is something missing or find broken links,
please contact bonnie.mcvey@snc.edu.
- An old summary of Linux/Unix commands can be found at commands. This
will be updated eventually.
- A summary of commands for the vi editor can be found at vi editor. This
too needs to be updated.
- If you would like connect to compsci04.snc.edu via a PC, you can do so via an PuTTY and choosing the SSH protocol. Use port number 7576.
PuTTY can be downloaded from putty.org
- If you would like to upload/download files to/from compsci02.snc.edu, you will need a secure ftp or scp client. Use port number 7576.
