Project Requirements

The official General Requirements for my project, as assigned, are as follows:

  1. A lane has a distinct left and right boundary such as a sidewalk or road.
  2. The primary sensor is a web cam with other existing devices (e.g. compass, gps) serving as secondary sensors.
  3. Noise and extraneous input is filtered.
  4. The solution includes measures to determine the accuracy of an algorithm. These measures along with response time are used to evaluate the various solutions.
  5. The successful module should guide the current Ariens tractor along two pre-determined paths.
